Jaron has represented and advised various political subdivisions within Texas, including special utility districts, municipalities, and hospital districts, in matters related to business transactions, administrative proceedings with various state agencies, employment disputes, regulatory compliance with federal, state and local laws and compliance with the entity’s enabling statutes, Open Meetings Act requirements, Public Information Act requirements, and other local governance rules.

Jaron represents clients in issues relating to federal and state agencies, including the National Labor Relations Board, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, the Texas Railroad Commission, the Texas Comptroller, and the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission, among others.

Jaron represents operators and working interest owners in oil and gas litigation involving contract disputes.
Private Regulatory Compliance
Jaron represents business entities in matters related to regulatory compliance with federal, state, and local laws pertaining to each entity’s industry, such as federal requirements for employers under the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act and other employment requirements, the Texas Railroad Commission’s permitting requirements for oil and gas clients, the Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission’s requirements for retailers and distributors of alcoholic beverages, and the State of Texas and IRS requirements for non-profit corporation formation and governance.
